01 / THE EVENING, REWRITTEN

Don't watch the detective.
Be the detective.

A story you move forward.
Not another thing you watch.

Open the file.

Meet the suspects, read the first report, and get your bearings. No host. No costumes. Just curiosity.

Connect what they missed.

Compare evidence, unlock the next lead, and ask for a hint when the trail goes cold. You set the pace.

Make your accusation.

Pick your suspect. Back it with evidence. Reveal the truth — and settle who was right all along.

02 / PICK YOUR INVESTIGATION STYLE

Your night.
Your suspects.

You don't need a party to have a plot twist.

2 DETECTIVES / ONE SHARED SCREEN

Two minds. One very
questionable alibi.

Put your phones aside (except the one holding the case). Compare theories, trade discoveries, and see how well you really think together.

The free sample uses one shared screen. Separate-device rooms are not included.

03 / OUR FIRST FULL INVESTIGATION

Some places keep secrets.
This one kept everyone.

NO EMAIL GATE. NO GUESSWORK.

Got a few minutes?
We've got a loose end.

The Clockwork Alibi is a complete, original mini-case.
Three suspects. A strange timestamp. One story that falls apart.

04 / A FEW THINGS TO CLEAR UP

Good questions.
No red herrings.

Is this a PDF, a game, or a murder mystery party?+

The free mini-case is a browser-based detective game. You read evidence, unlock a lead, and submit a conclusion. The planned full case will use the same style, with an optional printable companion. It is not a role-play dinner party: everyone investigates, and nobody has to act or know the solution in advance.

Can I really play by myself?+

Yes. Every clue in the free sample is available to a solo player. Playing with others adds discussion, not missing information. In couple or group mode, suggested investigator roles help you share the reading on one screen.

Do we all need to be in the same room?+

For this version, share one device in person, or have one person share their screen on a video call you already use. There are no synchronized private multiplayer rooms in this release. A launch-list signup is not a promise of that feature.

Will characters text my actual phone?+

No. Messages appear inside the game. We do not ask for a phone number or send SMS. Progress unlocks the next clue, so pausing your evening won't leave you behind.

What happens if we get stuck?+

The mini-case has progressive, optional hints. Try a small nudge first, then ask for a more direct clue. There is no countdown or penalty for thinking. You can reread the available exhibits before submitting an answer.

Can I buy the full case right now?+

The purchase button shows whether sales are open. The complete case is built and in private pilot. When checkout is enabled, payment provides a private browser-play link by email. Nothing ships. Already have a case? Open your desk.

Is it scary? Can we replay it?+

The sample is a non-graphic mystery about a false alibi. No jump scares. The planned full case contains fictional crime and suspense for ages 14 and up. These are fixed-solution investigations: you can revisit them, but you will know the answer after solving them.
